Capella Professional appoints Project Manager

Congratulations to Karen Ward on her new appointment as Project Manager for Capella Professional.

Karen will be working closely with our team to ensure we are up to date on ever evolving compliance and recruitment standards. This is a pivotal position to provide clients and candidates with a guarantee they are working with an agency who actively implements safe recruitment practices.

In addition, Karen will also be acting Mental Health Champion for the business, providing a safe place for staff, clients, and candidates alike to express their troubles, using her MHFA certification.

This is an exciting change for Karen. Moving on from her previous post as Business Manager for our sister company, Sky Recruitment Solutions, she is keen to take on a wider reach within the business.

Describing what she is most looking forward to, Karen said:

“I still get to work closely with our clients and staff, which was my biggest fear of losing! So, to still be hands on in those areas is fantastic”.

Karen has been an instrumental part of Sky Recruitment Solutions for over two years, but like most of the Capella and SRS team, her background was not in recruitment. Having previously worked in E-commerce, Karen describes the two industries as similar, stating she has “always enjoyed busy roles, when no day is ever the same”.
