Quality Technician | Location: Heage, Derbyshire | Pay: £15.00 per hour (DOE) |Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00am – 5:00pm

Capella Industrial are working in partnership with a well-established and growing UK manufacturer specialising in aluminium systems and extruded solutions for commercial, industrial and architectural applications.

As the business continues to grow and prepares to relocate to a new, larger facility, the HSEQ Department is expanding and looking to add a Quality Technician to the team. The business takes pride in the quality of its products and its customer service and is seeking a keen individual who wants to grow with the company and contribute to its ongoing success.

The Role

Working within the HSEQ Department and reporting to the Head of Compliance, the Quality Technician will support day-to-day quality and compliance activities across the site.

Key responsibilities will include:

• Ensuring operator quality checks are completed accurately and recorded correctly
• Maintaining and managing the calibration of handheld measuring equipment
• Assisting with the investigation of customer complaints
• Supporting internal quality investigations and the control of non-conforming products
• Archiving and maintaining hard copy quality records
• Conducting weekly fire door checks and ensuring first aid kits are maintained
• Providing general support to the HSEQ function as required

About You

This role would suit someone who is organised, methodical, and keen to develop within a quality-focused manufacturing environment.

You should ideally have:

• Experience working to strict quality standards, ideally ISO9001
• A customer-focused mindset with good attention to detail
• Strong organisational skills and the ability to learn new processes
• Confidence using MS Office applications
• A proactive and reliable approach to work
