Capella Industrial are recruiting on behalf of a specialist precision tooling manufacturer.

The Business

This business operates in the toolmaking and mould/die sector, producing and maintaining high-accuracy tooling using in-house CNC and EDM capability. The focus is on precision, detail and technical quality, not volume output.

The Role

You will operate EDM machinery to produce intricate tooling features and profiles, supporting new tool builds, modifications and repairs. Charmilles experience is highly relevant.

Key Responsibilities

• Set and operate EDM machines to produce precision components
• Work from drawings and models to achieve required tolerances and finishes
• Plan burn strategies, electrode usage and process control
• Inspect work and maintain consistent quality standards
• Support tooling repairs and modifications as required
• Maintain machine condition and consumables

What We’re Looking For

• Proven EDM machining experience within a toolroom or precision environment
• Confident setting up and running jobs independently
• Strong attention to detail and quality
• Experience with Charmilles EDM equipment beneficial
