We are recruiting on behalf of a highly modern aluminium manufacturing business operating one of the most advanced extrusion facilities in the UK. The site has benefited from significant multi-million pound investment and operates state-of-the-art extrusion technology within a purpose-built manufacturing environment.

Producing high-quality aluminium profiles for commercial and architectural applications, the company has built a reputation for innovation, reliability and strong UK-based manufacturing capability. Operating from a large, modern Derbyshire facility, the business combines advanced extrusion presses, automated handling systems and lean manufacturing processes to deliver consistent quality and efficient production.

Due to continued growth and demand, the business is now expanding its extrusion team and looking to recruit skilled manufacturing operatives to support production.

The Role

Working within the Aluminium Extrusion department, you will play a key role in supporting the production of aluminium profiles from press start-up through to finished product.

This is a hands-on role within a fast-paced manufacturing environment where teamwork, attention to detail and mechanical awareness are essential.

Key Responsibilities

Operating and monitoring aluminium extrusion machinery
Supporting press start-ups and assisting with tooling changes
Carrying out in-process quality inspections and checks
Handling aluminium profiles safely throughout the production process
Supporting the wider extrusion team to maintain efficient production flow
Maintaining high standards of housekeeping and safety within the department

What We’re Looking For

Experience within aluminium extrusion, plastics extrusion or similar manufacturing environments
Strong mechanical awareness and practical problem-solving ability
Comfortable working within a fast-paced production environment
Reliable team players who take pride in producing quality work
